D8 GT

Leave it up the Dutch to design something like this, very effective.

The Donkervoort D8 GT was first shown on the Geneva Motorshow. The Donkervoort D8 GT has been in development for a while now and since clients started to sign in for their D8 GT, the Dutch manufacturer started to produce the cars. Donkervoort uses loads of carbon fiber for the D8 GT roof and doors, resulting in a of just 650 kg. The power is derived from a 1.8 liter turbocharged Audi 4-cylinder engine producing 180, 210 or 270 horsepower. To finalize the car Donkervoort has specifically designed light-weight 17 inch wheels which weigh just 6.5 kg.

  1. Looks like a cross between one of the old Cheetah racers and a Lotus Super 7, or a street version of one of Don Panoz older Le Mans front engined race cars. Thanks.
