Brinicle - Icicle of Death?

Well, that was all I needed to pursue more information on this phenomenon..
I mean what respectable diver and water lover wouldn't be wooed...
Particularly when the BBC has blocked all of the video available on their broadcast of the subject, sure makes ya wonder, don't it?  There is information available on the Daily Mail.

Then there was more..couldn't help myself, I mean, it's Wednesday!  Weird, Cool.

The process seems quite normal and reasonable from a scientific standpoint.
From an ecological one, I am wondering just how the global warming trend will affect
life throughout the planet, even things we have no clue exist.

Recycle Everything?

Are you really a recycler?  A little bit when convenient, walking an extra 5 feet to return your shopping cart.....well then this may give you pause for thought.
For the whole story and more pics see Legusl

Depressor Bomb?

Ever wonder what all those brilliant engineers and designers do for
entertainment and spare time?  Perhaps....

Michigan Moose

These photos were taken near Marenisco, MI.  I just have to poke a little fun at my
"other" half, as he's from  Michigan Upper and can appreciate that I finally
found something whiter than he is.

These were reportedly "Albino Moose", however, it has been determined they are,
in fact, a rare colour variance of the same genetic species and merely white
haired moose (still very unusual and rare).  Pretty cool though.

Hump Day Humor, Sexes

I think most of us can admit there are left and right brained people (regardless
of sex) and this pretty much sums up the difference

Hump Day Humor, After He's Gone

Now, I know all you "gals" out there have, at sometime in your life, removed 200 ugly
pounds of masculinity in some form or other (either by choice or selection).

Personally, the first thing I do when I run across that "shirt" they so kindly
left behind is turn it into a dirty dust rag!  Heavy with furniture oil.

Hump Day Humor, Ormie the Pig

A great short animation from Vimeo...
A film festival winner (and no wonder), see the link for more

Hump Day Humor, A Child's View

Not my usual, but cute..

Dear God,  Please send clothes for all those poor women on
Grandpa's computer.  Amen
