we will all suffer just what we deserve.  I try to avoid political commentary, 

as I strongly believe in each person's right to their own opinion, however, I also

believe in keeping a sense of humor no matter the circumstances.

So as not to offend, I'm sure not everyone will agree, however, from a humorous standpoint

you have to admit that putting things into a perspective that most people can grasp is brilliant.

This puts it into a much better perspective and is the same for many countries in Europe…

Why the U.S. was downgraded:

U.S. Tax revenue: $2,170,000,000,000

Fed budget: $3,820,000,000,000

New debt: $ 1,650,000,000,000

National debt: $14,271,000,000,000

Recent budget cuts: $ 38,500,000,000

Let's now remove 8 zeros and pretend it's a household budget:

Annual family income: $21,700

Money the family spent: $38,200

New debt on the credit card: $16,500

Outstanding balance on the credit card: $142,710

Total budget cuts: $385

Let's say, you come home from work and find there has been a sewer backup in your neighborhood.

To save the economy, in Oct, 2011,  The Federal Government will start deporting old people (instead of illegals) in order to Lower Social Security and Medicare costs. I started crying when I thought of you. RUN, YOU OLD BUZZARD, RUN!!

EMPLOYEE NOTICE 

Due to the current financial situation caused by the slowdown in the economy, Congress has decided to implement a scheme to put workers of 50 years of age and above on early, mandatory retirement, thus creating jobs and reducing unemployment.

This scheme will be known as RAPE (Retire Aged People Early).

Persons selected to be RAPED can apply to Congress to be considered for the SHAFT program (Special Help After Forced Termination).

Persons who have been RAPED and SHAFTED will be reviewed under the SCREW program (System Covering Retired-Early Workers).

A person may be RAPED once, SHAFTED twice and SCREWED as many times as Congress deems appropriate.

Persons who have been RAPED could get AIDS (Additional Income for Dependents & Spouse) or HERPES (Half Earnings for Retired Personnel Early Severance).

Obviously persons who have AIDS or HERPES will not be SHAFTED or SCREWED any further by Congress.

Persons who are not RAPED and are staying on will receive as much SHIT (Special High Intensity Training) as possible. Congress has always prided themselves on the amount of SHIT they give our citizens.

Should you feel that you do not receive enough SHIT, please bring this to the attention of your Congressman, who has been trained to give you all the SHIT you can handle.
