Happy Veterans Day, American Legion Post 434

A beautiful presentation in the Chula Vista Memorial Park
Special Presentation by Cdr Jay Hennesey
and other dignitaries local and state

Special Guest - Cdr Jay Hennessey, USN

The names of all fallen veterans from the Chula Vista area and all of the wars/conflicts were read by Chaplains of American Legion, Fleet Reserve Association and Vaterans of Foreign Wars.

 Placement of the wreath....

A 21 gun salute followed by a moment of silence,
taps played by John Blakely and the Benediction (Lcdr Robert Bradshaw)
 The colors were retired
Oops, wrong right...and adorable!

Thanks to Ms. Salas

And a few words from CV Post 434, Tony Stewart, Thank you

I am honored to have served (USN) and my
heartfelt "Thank-you" to those of you who are serving, have served or are families of those proud patriots....we are free because of those we follow.

1st Annual Car and Bike Show, CV Post 434

So, yesterday was the 1st Annual Car and Bike Show at American Legion Post 434
It was a very short notice event and our first one as a fledgling group.  We joined with our Garage Crew and raised funds for Operation Comfort Warrior.
Thank you for your support, more to come...
